Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy is published in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regarding refund processing. This policy forms an integral part of the Terms & Conditions of RESCUQR, operated by Suraksha Technologies LLP.

1. Subscription Details

RESCUQR is an annual subscription service priced at ₹299 per year. The subscription includes: QR code generation, profile creation, a printed weatherproof QR sticker delivered to your address, masked calling facility, and access to the RESCUQR dashboard for one year from the date of payment.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on the stage of service delivery at the time of your refund request:

3. How to Request a Refund

(a) Send an email to support@surakshaapp.in with the subject line “Refund Request”.

(b) Include: your registered email address, reason for the refund request, and the date of payment.

(c) Refund requests will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt.

(d) Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method used at the time of purchase, in compliance with RBI guidelines on refund processing.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

(a) Refund requests made after the sticker has been dispatched, as the product has been customised and shipped.

(b) Refund requests made after 7 days of payment, regardless of sticker status.

(c) Subscription renewal charges, once processed. However, you may choose not to renew by simply not making the renewal payment.

(d) If your account has been suspended or terminated due to violation of the Terms & Conditions.

5. Cancellation of Subscription

(a) You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation means your QR code will remain active until the current subscription period expires, after which it will be deactivated.

(b) No refund is provided for the unused portion of an active subscription period.

(c) To cancel, email support@surakshaapp.in or use the “Erase My Data” function on your profile page.

(d) Upon cancellation and data erasure, your QR code will be permanently deactivated and your personal data will be deleted within 30 days, in accordance with the DPDP Act, 2023.

6. Non-Renewal

(a) If you do not renew your subscription at the end of the 12-month period, your QR code will be deactivated automatically.

(b) Your data will be retained for 90 days post-expiry to allow for late renewal. After 90 days, your data may be permanently deleted.

(c) You may reactivate your account at any time by making a fresh subscription payment within the 90-day retention period.

7. Defective or Damaged Sticker

(a) If the sticker delivered to you is physically defective (printing error, wrong QR code, damaged in transit), you are entitled to a free replacement.

(b) Report defective stickers within 7 days of delivery by emailing support@surakshaapp.in with a photograph of the defective sticker.

(c) A replacement sticker will be printed and dispatched within 5-7 business days at no additional cost.

8. Grievance Redressal

If you are not satisfied with the resolution of your refund request, you may escalate your complaint to our Grievance Officer:

You may also file a complaint with the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or with the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act, 2023.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
